The listerine for toenail fungus is a decent tip but it doesn't work for all cases. You also have to be careful and not get the blue version because it has caused some comedy time in turning your feet blue. Listerine has thymol in it which seems to be the active ingredient in helping to kill toenail fungus.

Most of these are waaay less expensive than the alternatives, and most of us have at least some of these things already. Anything to make life simpler!

I have used dryer sheets on dogs and cats, and never had any adverse reactions. But I wouldn't use any sheets with a super strong scent, either, you know? Some of those may irritate.
Just use one sheet per dog and rub it on their backs and sides. Of course, if the dog has any open cuts, bites, etc., or anything, I wouldn't recommend it. But otherwise, it shouldn't hurt them!

I had to bathe my cats a time or two and I would rather poke out my own eyes, I think. LOL It was AWFUL!

Great tips! I love the cat commentary. I used to have a cat, and have certainly experienced the serious bodily injury while bathing! And not to mention, they look like pityful, half-drowned water rats, after being soaked in a tub!

But now I have dogs . . .who do get a little stinky from time to time--I should really give the dryer sheet a shot!

Do you think it's safe???
